COMMUNICATION
Struggling to be understood
The way you each communicate your feelings leads to emotional blow-ups, when the crux of the issue is usually small and manageable.
LATE DIAGNOSIS
Adult diagnosis and unmasking
A late diagnosis, then unmasking and burnout. The relationship you both agreed to isn't quite the one you're in now.
CONFLICT
No safe space without conflict
One of you walks on eggshells, communication has broken down, and you feel like two people living together rather than partners.
DIFFERENT NEEDS
Different needs both unmet
One of you needs solitude, the other needs touch and affection. Both of you end up exhausted and feeling the connection slipping.
